Some of the best family memories don’t happen in front of a backdrop. They happen while your kids are chasing each other through a zoo path, riding the carousel, eating melting ice cream, or running across the sand at sunset.

Our Family Storybooks capture an entire experience with your family and turn it into a beautifully designed album you’ll keep forever.

  • From curious animal encounters to train rides and snack breaks, we document your family’s day at the zoo as it naturally unfolds, creating a story you’ll remember for years to come. Locations: Bronx Zoo or Beardsley Zoo

  • Spend an evening at Rye Playland or your local carnival while we document the excitement and energy of the night. From walking the boardwalk and riding the rides to playing games and sharing treats, we capture the moments as they naturally unfold. All of it comes together to tell the story of your night in a beautiful heirloom album.

  • Celebrate your child’s big day while we document the excitement as it unfolds: friends arriving, games and laughter, cake and candles, and all the little moments in between. The story of the celebration comes together in a beautiful heirloom album.

  • We follow your child through the excitement of game day (across 3 games/practices) — warmups, action on the field, and moments with teammates and family. The highlights come together to tell the story of their season in a beautiful heirloom album.

Instead of a traditional photoshoot, your family spends time doing something fun together while we quietly document the moments as they naturally unfold.

Those moments are thoughtfully designed into a custom storybook album that tells the story of your day.

  • You will receive your fully edited online gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session and a 10×10 custom-designed heirloom album. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional albums and wall art at 50% off.

    Each adventure is unique, but most sessions include approximately 70–100 final images.

  • Yes, please bring any props or sentimental items you wish to be included in the photographs, i.e. special blanket or stuffed animal.

  • Please show up 5-10 minutes early as we will begin promptly at your scheduled time.

  • Your attire is entirely your choice, but be sure you and your littles are comfortable and clothing is well ironed. Avoid clothing with too many patterns and logos. If you need advice and ideas on what to wear, please reach out to our studio manager, Jessica at Jessica@tashography.com.

  • Not sure how to pose? No worries! We’ll guide you, ensuring natural and candid shots that you'll treasure.

  • Please contact us to book your custom family session. Adding extended family sometimes requires more time to be sure we capture the perfect family portraits.

  • Well-behaved pets are allowed (venue-permitting). Should you have any questions, please contact us.

  • We understand that things come up, especially with kids. If you need to reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice. If weather conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, we’ll simply reschedule to the next available date.

  • We’re always open to new ideas. If your family has a special place or activity in mind that isn’t listed, feel free to reach out. We’d love to work together to plan a Storybook Adventure that’s meaningful to you.
