Andrew & Cecily’s Surprise Engagement in Bedford, New York
Congratulations and Andrew & Cecily! When Andrew reached out to us wanting this unforgettable moment to be photographed, we immediately said yes! He knew exactly where he wanted to propose, and had all the details planned out. We talked through the details the week leading up to this special day, and he sent us photos of the location with an X marking the spot of where he would get down on one knee. Andrew and Cecily met during the pandemic, while attending business school at Columbia University. They had plans to visit Cecily‘s parents’ summer home in Bedford, New York, and Andrew reached out to us with his plans to propose during their stay. It’s tranquil and absolutely beautiful, so it’s no surprise he chose this lush and scenic location!
Following the special surprise, they called Cecily’s parents on FaceTime to share the good news. We had a mini-portrait session following, and toasted to the future Mr. & Mrs.!
