Baptism Photography at Fairfield University Chapel

It was such a beautiful day for a baptism at Fairfield University Chapel! Callan did a wonderful job throughout the whole ceremony and afterwards for the family portraits. Here are some of our favorite highlights from the day:

Holy Communion Photography in Fairfield County, CT

Communions are such an important event for a child and a traditional religious ceremony for many families. It's always an honor to be able to capture this special moment. This time it was Matthew's turn for his first communion, so I met him and his family at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wilton, CT after the ceremony for a mini portrait session.

I photographed Matthew's cousin, Sadie's first communion last year and was referred to by her mother. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain all day, so we were limited to indoor portraits inside the church (which was gorgeous by the way!). Unlike Sadie's communion, the church did not allow photography during the service, so I met the family after the service. Matthew was such a good sport and looked sharp in his suit! Here are some select shots from the session:

These lovely girls below were baptized last weekend and I had the honor to photograph their special day. How cute are they in their baptism gowns? They were absolute dolls and their family was so warm and welcoming. It was a beautiful service at Our Lady of the Sea Church on Shippan Avenue in Stamford. Thank you for letting me play a part in this beautiful ceremony!

Bat Mitzvah Photography in Westchester, NY

Jessica's Bat Mitzvah took place on May 9th, 2015 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown, NY on a beautiful Spring day. Jessica looked like a gorgeous princess in her pink, sequined dress, and she did such a wonderful job that day, making her parents very proud. We started the morning with Jessica's portrait session, then family portraits which took about an hour total.

For Jessica's individual bat mitzvah portraits and the outdoor portraits, I used the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 telephoto lens which gave me a flattering look and nice bokeh in the gardens outside the venue. We moved indoors to capture family portraits with immediate family and relatives so we had a one-light setup through an umbrella, shooting with the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8. After the portrait session the ceremony began and I was given permission to take photos from the back of the venue, so the telephoto lens really came in handy to capture all the right moments. We had lots of fun shooting this memorable event in their lives and it gives us great pleasure to know that they will cherish these photographs for a lifetime. If you're looking for a Bat or Bar Mitzvah Photographer in CT or NY, please let me know if you're interested in getting a quote. Thanks and enjoy viewing these select shots from the Bar Mitzvah:

Thank you again. You did a fantastic job!!! WE LOVE ALL OF THE PHOTOS!!!! You are a GREAT photographer!
