A Romantic Surprise Proposal in Meriden, CT

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing our first surprise proposal of the spring season! Joseph reached out to us a few months ago, as he started to prepare for and plan his perfect proposal. He knew he wanted to propose to Arianni at Doctor Francis Giuffrida Park in Meriden, Connecticut, as that was a meaningful location to the both of them.

Joseph purchased the ring, hired a violinist and we helped with the rest! He shared photos and videos and we reviewed the location together, deciding exactly where the best spot would be for photos and what time of day so the light hit just right.

In our conversations, Joseph mentioned how meaningful the bench at this park was to them, so I made that my waiting point for them. Afterwards the beautiful couple celebrated with champagne and photos on the bench while listening to the violinist, Julie, play.

It was a beautiful day and Joseph did such an amazing job planning every detail to make his proposal special. I am so happy for this sweet couple and wish them so much happiness! Thank you again Joseph for entrusting me to capture this special moment in your lives!
