Over the weekend, I met with one of my regular clients at a few homes she designed to photograph her work for a new portfolio and website she is working on. Her attention to detail, use of colors and textures, and overall interior design work is beautiful. I highly recommend her if you're looking to revamp a special room or your entire house with gorgeous accents from around the world. Once her site is live, I will link it in this post if you're interested.
Take a look at my shots from the sessions at different homes she has designed around Westchester and Fairfield County. I started with the wide-angle lens (Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8) to capture the whole room and the look, then switched to the macro lens (Nikon 105mm f/2.8) to focus on the details and textures. I'm in love with all the bright colors she uses and the inspiration from Asian cultures. I will be shooting more homes in the next few months and am especially excited for new partnerships in the works for real estate photography so my husband and I can utilize our new toy for aerial shots and video - the DJI Phantom 3! Stay tuned!
