Capturing Peter’s Surprise Proposal at Cove Island Park in Stamford, CT

Early in the summer, Peter reached out to us as he was sure he needed someone there to capture this sweet moment. Excited and ready to propose, he knew he loved Cove Island Park in Stamford, CT as the spot to pop the question to his girlfriend Taylor. Check out some of our favorite photos from this beautiful surprise proposal!

We shared our locations in advance, and planned for 11am Sunday morning for the big moment! I arrived early to secure my location, and was able to capture every second from Peter getting on one knee then putting the ring on her finger, to the mini portrait session we had afterwards with the newly engaged couple.

We strolled along the beach and throughout Cove Island capturing a series of posed portraits as well as candids. Her unique and stunning ring sparkled in the sunlight, but Peter and Taylor were beaming with love, happiness and joy.

Thank you to Peter for having me capture this beautiful proposal, and wishing you and Taylor a lifetime of happiness! It was an honor to be a part of this moment.

If you’re planning your surprise proposal and looking to capture and remember every special minute of it, reach out to us here we would love to help plan it with you and give you beautiful photos to cherish forever!
