A Surprise Proposal: Love Afloat in the City

Last weekend I had the honor of photographing a surprise proposal in NYC. Ben reached out looking for professional photos to capture this memorable moment, and he had everything planned out beginning to end. He booked Dream Boat NY, and knew that was where he wanted to pop the question!

It was very intimate, just the 3 of us and the captain. As they came aboard, I pretended to be capturing photos of the city and landmarks around us. When Ben got down on one knee, I immediately started snapping away to capture every second of this romantic surprise!

It was complete enchantment, set up with beautiful fresh flowers, champagne and an illuminated sign that read “Will you marry me?”. We took some portraits inside, then moved our way to the deck to enjoy the beautiful views and lit up skyline. The happy couple toasted with champagne and was bursting with happiness as we sailed around NYC.

It was a gorgeous Friday evening, and everything went just as he planned. Congratulations to the future Mr. & Mrs., hoping that you forever cherish these photos, and wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!
