Holy Communion Photography In Fairfield County, CT

Communions are such an important event for a child and a traditional religious ceremony for many families. It's always an honor to be able to capture this special moment. This time it was Matthew's turn for his first communion, so I met him and his family at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wilton, CT after the ceremony for a mini portrait session.

I photographed Matthew's cousin, Sadie's first communion last year and was referred to by her mother. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain all day, so we were limited to indoor portraits inside the church (which was gorgeous by the way!). Unlike Sadie's communion, the church did not allow photography during the service, so I met the family after the service. Matthew was such a good sport and looked sharp in his suit! Here are some select shots from the session:
